What it solves
Easel is an open-source content workbench for social media creators. It solves the fragmented nature of content creation by integrating discovery, planning, production, publishing, and analysis into a single AI-driven workflow. Instead of just suggesting ideas, it executes the actual creation of assets and handles the distribution across multiple platforms.
How it works
Easel uses an AI Agent (powered by OpenClaw) that operates across five continuous layers of workflow:
- Discovery: Aggregates trending topics, industry news, and competitor dynamics to find opportunities.
- Planning: Converts opportunities into specific topics, scripts, and a content calendar.
- Creation: Generates actual assets including text, images, audio, and video (using various integrated AI models and scripts).
- Publishing: Adapts content for specific platform requirements (e.g., Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Bilibili) and executes the posting process.
- Attribution: Analyzes performance data (views, interactions) and feeds those insights back into the account profile to improve future content.
Central to this is the Account Profile, which stores the account's positioning, style, audience, and long-term memory, ensuring the AI's output remains consistent with the creator's brand.
