Cuadernos Colab y recursos de apoyo para aprender y enseñar programación, análisis de datos, ciencia de datos y machine learning con Python.
What it solves
Learning data science and machine learning with Python often means juggling scattered tutorials, videos, and code snippets. This repository collects structured, free educational materials in one place: multi-volume PDF books, companion Jupyter notebooks that run in Google Colab, and notebooks from real courses. It gives learners a clear path from programming basics to deep learning, with hands-on examples they can execute and modify.
How it works
The repository is organized into two main sections. First, a collection of study books (in Spanish) with PDF versions and companion Colab notebooks for each chapter. The books cover introductory data work, exploratory analysis and visualization, machine learning fundamentals (two volumes), and deep learning (a preliminary version). There is also a separate book introducing Polars for Pandas users. Second, a section with support materials from courses the author has taught, including machine learning and data analysis courses. These notebooks cover topics such as data cleaning, regression, classification, clustering, pipelines, and model evaluation. Each notebook includes a button to open it in Google Colab, where you can run, edit, and save your own copy.
Who it’s for
Self-learners, students, and educators who prefer a structured, practical approach to Python data science and machine learning, especially Spanish speakers. The materials start from the basics and progress to advanced topics, making them useful for beginners as well as those looking to deepen their skills. Course notebooks are also kept available as free reference and practice material after the courses end.
Highlights
- Free PDF downloads for multiple book volumes, plus a preliminary deep learning volume.
- Every book chapter has a companion Colab notebook with runnable code and examples.
- Course notebooks cover real workflows: data cleaning, supervised and unsupervised models, pipelines, hyperparameter tuning, and evaluation.
- New materials are added almost daily, keeping content fresh.
- All resources are in Spanish, lowering the barrier for Spanish-speaking learners.
