What it solves

GCMP is a VS Code extension that allows developers to use a wide variety of domestic (Chinese) native LLM providers within the GitHub Copilot Chat interface. How it works

GCMP integrates multiple native LLM providers (such as ZhipuAI, DeepSeek, MoonshotAI, and others) directly into the VS Code Copilot Chat model selector. It also supports OpenAI and Anthropic compatible APIs for third-party cloud services. The extension provides a detailed configuration system to map specific models to VS Code's internal utility tasks (like title generation, commit message creation, and intent detection) to save Copilot's monthly quota.
