What it solves

OpenSwarm addresses the limitation of single-agent AI systems that struggle to handle complex, multi-step deliverables. Instead of one generalist agent, it provides a coordinated team of specialists that can produce professional-grade outputs like slide decks, research reports, data visualizations, and videos from a single terminal prompt.

How it works

Built on the Agency Swarm framework, the system uses an Orchestrator agent to route user requests to one or more of eight specialized agents. These agents collaborate to execute tasks: a Deep Research agent gathers evidence, a Data Analyst runs statistical models in an IPython kernel, and dedicated agents handle the generation of HTML/PPTX slides, Word/PDF documents, images, and videos. It integrates with Composio to connect to over 10,000 external services like Gmail, Slack, and GitHub.
