Seeed-Studio/OSHW-reCamera-Series
reCamera is a series of open-source AI cameras.
What it solves
This project provides the open-source hardware documentation and design resources for the reCamera series, enabling developers to build and customize AI-powered vision systems using modular or integrated hardware platforms.
How it works
The repository serves as a central hub for hardware specifications and design files. It covers two primary product lines:
- reCamera 2002 / 2002w: A modular platform based on the Sophgo SG2002 processor with 1 TOPS of AI acceleration, featuring interchangeable core, sensor, and base boards.
- reCamera Pro: A high-performance integrated platform using the Rockchip RV1126B processor with a 3 TOPS NPU for more demanding AI vision tasks.
Who it’s for
It is designed for hardware engineers, makers, and AI developers who need detailed schematics, KiCad sources, and mechanical files to integrate these AI cameras into custom robotics or vision applications.
Highlights
- Modular Design: The 2002 series allows for swapping sensors and base boards.
- AI Acceleration: Integrated NPUs providing up to 3 TOPS of INT8 performance.
- Diverse Form Factors: Includes specialized versions like the HQ PoE (Ethernet/PoE) and Gimbal (two-axis brushless gimbal) versions.
- Open Hardware: Provides editable KiCad sources and schematic PDFs.
