What it solves

It allows users to repurpose Xiaozhi-based hardware devices as voice assistant satellites for Home Assistant, providing a way to integrate these compact AI devices into a local smart home ecosystem.

How it works

The project provides ESPHome configuration files (YAML) for a wide variety of Xiaozhi-compatible devices. Users flash these configurations onto their devices via ESPHome Web or USB, which then enables the hardware to communicate with Home Assistant as a voice assistant interface.
