What it solves

ShardX solves the problem of browser fingerprinting and identity tracking by providing a way to run hundreds of isolated browser identities side-by-side. It prevents websites from detecting automation or multi-accounting by ensuring that device signals—such as hardware, fonts, screen resolution, and network capabilities—are consistent and appear as a genuine user.

How it works

ShardX uses a patched version of the Chromium 156 engine to apply fingerprint changes directly at the engine level, rather than relying on JavaScript shims. This ensures that spoofed values remain consistent across iframes, web workers, and developer tools. It manages profiles with isolated storage, binds them to specific SOCKS5 or HTTP proxies, and automatically derives timezone, locale, and geolocation from the proxy's exit IP. It also supports advanced networking like QUIC and WebRTC over SOCKS5 UDP relays.
