ParadevAI/Paradev

Paradev (formerly Superset) is an agentic IDE to orchestrate 100+ coding agents in parallel. Run any agent with your own subscription.

Paradev is a desktop application that runs command-line AI coding agents (like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex) in one organized workspace, alongside the developer tools you need to review and test their work. It gives each task its own dedicated folder (called a worktree), its own terminal, and its own browser preview, so you can run multiple agents in parallel and inspect their output without leaving the app.

Core features

  • Parallel workspaces: Each task is isolated on its own Git branch and folder, so you can run several agents at once and compare their solutions.
  • Integrated terminal: A full terminal with tabs, split panes, persistent sessions, and a prompt editor for typing commands or follow-up instructions to an agent.
  • Diff viewer: See exactly what an agent changed (added/removed lines), comment on it, edit directly, and commit when you're satisfied.
  • In-app browser: Preview the web app or dev server an agent is working on, with each workspace detecting its own ports.
  • Agent monitoring: Watch progress from the sidebar, get notifications when agents finish or need attention.
  • Automations: Schedule agent runs (e.g., review a PR on a timer) or trigger them from events.
  • Remote access: Connect another computer and use its workspaces from anywhere (desktop, phone, or CLI).

Supported agents Many popular CLI coding agents are fully supported out of the box – Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor Agent, Gemini CLI, and others. Any other CLI-based agent can also run without special configuration.

Platforms

  • macOS (primary target) – via a .dmg installer for Apple Silicon or Intel.
  • Linux – experimental support (AppImage); Windows is not yet available.
  • iPhone/iPad – requires Paradev Pro and iOS/iPadOS 26 or later, and lets you control cloud or remote workspaces from your device.

Beyond the desktop app Paradev also provides a command-line tool, a TypeScript SDK, and an MCP server, so you can script and control workspaces programmatically or let other agents drive them.

Getting started You need only Git installed (GitHub CLI is optional and enables PR workflows). Download the app, add or clone a repository, create a workspace, choose an agent, and describe the change you want. The app walks you through the first session.

Development The project is open-source. You can build from source using Bun, Docker, and a few other tools (see the README for details), but the easiest way is to install the ready-made app.
