This project provides a suite of automated tools for geodesy and stereogrammetry, allowing users to process stereo images from various sources—including satellites, robotic rovers, aerial cameras, and historical images—to create accurate 3D representations of terrain.
How it works
ASP uses computer vision techniques to process stereo image pairs. It can operate with or without accurate camera pose information to generate cartographic products such as digital terrain models (DTMs/DEMs), ortho-projected images, and 3D models, as well as bundle-adjusted networks of cameras.

It is designed for scientists, mission planners, and those involved in public outreach who need to derive terrain data from planetary or Earth-based imagery.
