Microck/ordinary-claude-skills
An unappealing collection of Claude Skills and resources.
What it solves
Claude users often repeat the same instructions or context for specific tasks. This repository gathers hundreds of ready-made "skills" — prompt packages and scripts — that teach Claude how to do specific things without re-explaining them each time. It saves context window space and reduces confusion by loading skills only when needed.
How it works
The repo is organized into two folders: skills_all (everything) and skills_categorized (grouped by category). You can either browse and search via the static documentation site, or clone the repo and point your Claude client (like claude.ai custom skills, MCP servers, or system prompts) to the relevant skill folder. Each skill is a folder with instructions and scripts; Claude loads them on demand.
Who it's for
- Users of Claude.ai who want to add custom skills to their profile.
- Developers building agents or MCP servers who need a curated set of skill definitions.
- Anyone who wants a local, offline copy of skills without depending on a third-party URL.
Highlights
- Aggregates official Anthropic skills and community contributions from sources like ComposioHQ and K-Dense-AI.
- Categorized across domains: science, software engineering, infrastructure, data & AI, business, creative, web3.
- Non-curated: everything is included, so some skills may not work perfectly.
- Local-first: clone the repo and use it offline or with your own tooling.
- Provides a static site with search and indexing for easy discovery.
