This project provides a visual balance tracker for users of the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web interface. It solves the problem of having to manually check API usage and costs by integrating a persistent, interactive "whale" widget that displays real-time balance and spending statistics directly on the screen.

How it works

The widget acts as a plugin for the DSH Web interface. It fetches the current balance using the DEEPSEEK_API_KEY and tracks daily usage through two different methods: a local "bookkeeping" mode that calculates spending based on balance drops, or a "token" mode that uses a platform session token to pull precise usage data from the DeepSeek platform. It also listens to local session events to calculate and display the exact cost of each individual conversation turn.
