Import a 3D Model and automatically assign and export animations
What it solves
Mesh2Motion provides an open-source alternative to closed tools like Mixamo for automatically assigning and exporting animations to 3D models. It aims to offer greater flexibility by supporting a wider variety of model and skeleton types.
How it works
Users import a 3D model (GLB/GLTF format) into the web application, select a compatible skeleton type, and adjust the skeleton to fit the model. Once the skeleton is aligned, users can test various animations, select their preferred ones, and export the final animated model as a GLB/GLTF file.
Who it’s for
This tool is for 3D artists, developers, and creators who need a flexible, open-source way to rig and animate 3D characters without relying on proprietary, closed-source software.
