What it solves
MatrAIx addresses the challenge of evaluating AI systems and interactive products using a diverse, representative population of users rather than generic or interchangeable test subjects. It allows developers to stress-test products and generate hypotheses by simulating how different types of people—with varying backgrounds, psychology, and behaviors—would interact with their software.
How it works
The system uses a detailed schema of 1,290 categorical dimensions to define personas. These personas are instantiated as LLM agents that are then run through reproducible tasks in four specific environments: Survey, AI Chatbot, Web, and App (including native desktop and mobile). The infrastructure supports population-scale simulation, utilizing a coreset of one million quality-filtered personas to connect individual agent trajectories to broader population-level findings.
