Lumince/singularity

meta horizon aio root app

What it solves

Singularity gives you full root access to your Meta VR headset (Quest 2, Pro, 3, 3s) in seconds, freeing the device from Meta's restrictions and telemetry. It bundles a wide range of system tweaks and privacy controls into a single app.

How it works

The app uses the fugu exploit to gain root. The setup flow is:

  1. Open the app and enable Wireless ADB (following the guide that pops up).
  2. Optionally turn on the internet kill switch (with enable-on-boot) in AIO Tweaks.
  3. Press "Root Now" (if it stops, press again).
  4. After root, the device soft reboots. Do not attempt to root again.
  5. Check if "Singularity-Magisk" is in Unknown Sources; if so, open it and grant root to Singularity.

If Unknown Sources is empty, you can launch the app and Magisk via ADB commands on a PC. The app also includes an ADB fallback for other issues.

Beyond rooting, Singularity provides toggles and tools like a telemetry disabler, update engine disabler, internet kill switch, domain blocker, and many more. Some features (like the partitions protector and system hang fix) are designed to keep the device stable while rooted.

Who it's for

This is for owners of a Quest 2, Pro, 3, or 3s who want root access to customize their headset and remove Meta's control. It's aimed at users comfortable with sideloading APKs and willing to take responsibility for the risks of rooting (as the README strongly warns).
