What it solves

Power Design solves the problem of AI-generated presentations and websites looking generic or poorly designed. It ensures outputs are both visually aligned with a specific brand identity and grounded in objective, research-backed design principles rather than random AI generation.

How it works

It functions as a skill for Claude Code that follows a specific workflow:

1. Routing: The user chooses between a presentation deck or a website.
2. Brand Extraction: It identifies "Brand DNA" either by extracting it from a live URL using Firecrawl or by selecting from a library of over 72 pre-built brand systems (e.g., Apple, Stripe, Linear).
3. Rule Application: It applies one of two codified rulebooks containing 20 specific design rules each—one for slides (based on experts like Tufte and Duarte) and one for the web (based on standards like WCAG 2.2 and Core Web Vitals).
4. Generation: It combines the brand DNA and the chosen rulebook to generate a responsive HTML file (slides.html or site.html).
