CraftStation Agent Runtime Composition System
What it solves
CraftStation is an agent runtime composition system that prevents the need to manage multiple separate terminals, shortcuts, and configuration folders for different AI agent CLIs (such as Codex, Kimi Code, and Grok). It provides a unified desktop environment to launch, schedule, and manage these agents while maintaining their native capabilities.
How it works
The system treats an agent session as a "craft." Users select a model and a "harness" (the runtime environment), along with tools and accounts. If the model and harness match (e.g., Gemini with Antigravity), it uses the official native runtime for maximum capability. For cross-vendor pairs, it uses a compatibility bridge called CLIProxyAPI to allow a harness to consume a different model's API.
Who it’s for
Developers and power users who use multiple different AI agent CLIs and want a single management plane for account pools, tool configuration, and session scheduling.
Highlights
- Unified Scheduler: Manage multiple agent CLIs (Codex, OpenCode, Kimi Code, etc.) in one desktop window.
- Account Pools: Manage multiple accounts per provider with priority scheduling and quota tracking to avoid manual swapping.
- Native MCP Support: Enables agents to dispatch tasks across threads, schedule timed wake-ups, and perform "Computer Use" (clicking and typing on Windows).
- Centralized Management: Unified control over skills, Git worktrees, and MCP servers across all installed harnesses.
- Automatic CLI Updates: In-place updates for installed CLIs, including those managed within specific account profiles.
