Fosowl/agenticSeek

Fully Local Manus AI. No APIs, No $200 monthly bills. Enjoy an autonomous agent that thinks, browses the web, and code for the sole cost of electricity.

What it solves

AgenticSeek is a private, local alternative to AI assistants like Manus AI. It allows users to perform complex tasks—such as autonomous web browsing, coding, and task planning—without relying on cloud services, ensuring that all data, conversations, and searches remain on the user's local hardware.

How it works

The system uses a routing mechanism to automatically select the best AI agent for a given task. It integrates with local LLM providers (like Ollama or LM Studio) or cloud APIs. To enable web capabilities, it uses SearXNG and Redis via Docker. It can interact with the local file system (via a designated WORK_DIR) to read, write, and organize files, and it is currently developing voice-to-text and text-to-speech capabilities.

Who it’s for

It is designed for users who want a powerful, autonomous AI assistant but prioritize data privacy and local execution. It is particularly suited for those with sufficient GPU hardware to run reasoning models (like DeepSeek or Mistral) locally.

Highlights

  • 100% Local Execution: Runs entirely on the user's machine to eliminate cloud dependency and data sharing.
  • Autonomous Web Browsing: Can search the internet, extract information, and fill out web forms hands-free.
  • Self-Sufficient Coding: Writes, debugs, and executes programs in multiple languages including Python, C, Go, and Java.
  • Multi-Agent Planning: Breaks down complex projects into smaller steps and coordinates multiple agents to execute them.
  • Local Provider Support: Compatible with Ollama, LM Studio, and other OpenAI-compatible servers.
