EL4CTEO/blender-skills
Professional Blender 5.2 workflows as Agent Skills for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot and Cursor: modeling, UVs, PBR, baking, rigging, animation, export and QA.
Blender Agent Skills
What it is
- A collection of 22 ready‑to‑use Agent Skills that let AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) drive Blender 5.2 LTS+ for professional 3D asset creation.
- Each skill is a small script that encapsulates a specific part of the 3D pipeline—modeling, UVs, PBR material setup, baking, rigging, animation, optimization, export, rendering, environment effects, QA, etc.
- The skills are tested in a real Blender installation and can be called from an AI agent as if they were built‑in commands.
Installation
- Claude Code: add the repo via the Claude plugin marketplace and install the
blender-agent-skillspackage. - Other agents: clone the repo and run the provided installer (
install.shfor macOS/Linux,install.ps1for Windows). By default the skills are placed in~/.claude/skillsand~/.agents/skills, which the supported agents read automatically. - Optional: run a Blender MCP server so agents can control an already‑open Blender UI; otherwise the scripts launch Blender in headless mode.

How it helps
- Prompts like “Make a game‑ready crate for Unreal with baked normals and LODs.” are turned into concrete Blender operations without the user writing any Python.
- The comparison page (linked in the README) shows noticeably higher quality results when the skills are used.
Development & testing
tools/validate_skills.pychecks skill specifications and token‑budget limits.tools/run_tests.pyruns 50 headless Blender tests (customizable viaBLENDER_EXE).
