EKKOLearnAI/ekko-studio

Ekko Studio is a local-first AI workspace for multi-agent chat, coding, and visual workflows, available on desktop and the web.

What it solves

Ekko Studio provides a unified, local-first workspace for managing multiple AI agents, coding assistants, and complex AI workflows. It eliminates the need to switch between disparate tools by integrating various agent runtimes, coding-agent CLIs, and communication platforms into a single interface.

How it works

It acts as a central control plane and runtime manager that connects to different agent backends (like Hermes Agent and Ekko Agent) and 14 different coding-agent integrations (including Claude Code and DeepSeek Harness). It uses a local SQLite database for session management and provides a visual canvas for building executable workflows with approval gates and loops. The system can be deployed as a desktop app, a self-hosted web console, or via Docker.

Who it’s for

Developers and AI power users who want to orchestrate multiple specialized agents, automate repetitive tasks via visual workflows, and maintain local control over their AI sessions and data.

Highlights

  • Multi-Agent Integration: Supports a wide array of coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, DeepSeek Harness, etc.) and general agents in one workspace.
  • Visual Workflows: A Vue Flow-based canvas to build directed agent steps with success/failure routes and human approval gates.
  • Platform Channels: Unified configuration for 10 platforms including Telegram, Discord, Slack, and WhatsApp.
  • Local-First Tooling: Includes a built-in file browser, web terminal, and a desktop-only agent browser for AI-assisted web navigation.
  • Comprehensive Analytics: Tracks token usage, estimated costs, and model distribution across sessions.
  • Multi-Profile Management: Allows creation and switching of isolated Hermes profiles for different projects or users.
