BIMK/PlatEMO
Evolutionary multi-objective optimization platform
What it solves
PlatEMO is a MATLAB platform for running and comparing evolutionary multi-objective optimization algorithms. It bundles hundreds of algorithms and benchmark problems so researchers can test new ideas without starting from scratch.
How it works
PlatEMO provides a unified MATLAB interface with a graphical user interface (GUI). Users pick an algorithm and a problem, run experiments in parallel, and visualize results such as Pareto fronts and performance trajectories. It also exports tables to Excel or LaTeX.
Who it's for
Researchers and educators in the field of evolutionary multi-objective optimization who need a ready-to-use toolkit for experiments and publication-quality results.
Highlights
- 300+ open-source evolutionary algorithms, many from top journals after 2010
- 600+ benchmark problems, including new ones like HYL1-HYL5
- Powerful GUI to run experiments without writing code
- Parallel execution and one-click export to Excel or LaTeX tables
- Continually updated with state-of-the-art algorithms
