Track your Claude.ai usage right from your Mac menu bar
What it solves
ClaudeUsageBar provides a way for macOS users to monitor their Claude.ai usage limits without having to manually check the settings page. It solves the problem of unexpectedly hitting usage caps during a session or over a week.
How it works
The application is a lightweight macOS menu bar app built with SwiftUI and AppKit. It requires the user to provide a session cookie from Claude.ai's internal API endpoints to authenticate and fetch usage data. Once configured, it automatically refreshes usage statistics every five minutes and displays them as a percentage in the menu bar.
Who it’s for
Users of Claude.ai, including those on the Pro plan, who want a persistent, real-time visual indicator of their remaining message limits on macOS.
