AlphaGBM/skills
Bring realtime market data and research workflows into Claude Code, Cursor & beyond — 29 open-source Skills for stocks, options and commodities.
What it solves
AlphaGBM Skills provides a suite of specialized tools for market research and investment analysis, allowing users to integrate financial data and analysis methods into their AI workspaces. It helps investors understand stock opportunities, compare options strategies, analyze news impact, and break down institutional research reports.
How it works
The project consists of a collection of 27 "Skills" (packages) categorized by asset class (Stocks, Options, Commodities, and Digital Assets). These packages contain Python 3.9+ runners that can be called by an AI tool. Users install specific skills via a CLI tool (npx skills add), configure an API key from an AlphaGBM account, and then prompt their AI to use these tools to perform research tasks such as analyzing NVDA or evaluating risk limitations for options strategies.
Who it’s for
Investors and financial analysts who use AI assistants to enhance their market research workflow and automate the analysis of financial data and sentiment.
