What it solves

This project provides a strategic framework and an AI-powered "skill" for businesses to determine if and how they should invest in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Instead of blindly adopting AI visibility strategies, it helps business owners and marketing leaders analyze whether AI-generated answers can actually influence customer decision-making and drive real business value based on first principles of industry competition and customer needs.

How it works

The project is implemented as an "Agent Skill" (following the Agent Skills specification) that guides an AI agent through a six-part analysis process:

  1. Industry First Principles: Analyzing customer needs and the competitive landscape.
  2. Customer Funnel: Mapping how customers discover, compare, and purchase.
  3. GEO Value Assessment: Determining if AI can change a customer's decision and if the enterprise is equipped to handle that change.
  4. Scenario Identification: Selecting priority business scenarios and goals.
  5. Practical Testing: Generating five specific questions for the user to manually test in AI products to see current visibility.
  6. Implementation Roadmap: Creating a tailored action plan based on the "GEO Ten-Ring System," including responsibilities, deliverables, and a 30-day plan.

It can bet delivered as a single-page HTML report using a provided template and a lightweight Python rendering script.

Who it’s for

  • Business owners and executives.
  • Marketing heads and growth leads.
  • Enterprise service teams focusing on business analysis.

Highlights

  • Business-First Approach: Focuses on "why customers buy" before "how to optimize for AI."
  • Structured Framework: Uses a "Ten-Ring" closed-loop system (from factual ontology to effect attribution).
  • Actionable Output: Produces a 30-day roadmap with concrete steps that require no external procurement.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Designed to work across various AI agents (Codex, Claude, WorkBuddy, etc.) via a standardized skill format.
