23blocks-OS/ai-maestro
AI Agent Orchestrator with Skills System - Give AI Agents superpowers: memory search, code graph queries, agent-to-agent messaging. Manage Claude, Codex or any AI Agent from one dashboard. Move Agents between computers and locations
What it solves
AI Maestro addresses the chaos of managing multiple AI agents across different terminals and machines. It eliminates the need for users to act as a "human mailman" by providing a centralized dashboard and a standardized communication protocol, allowing agents to coordinate and share context directly without manual intervention.
How it works
The system operates as a peer mesh network where every machine is equal, removing the need for a central server. It integrates with any terminal-based AI agent (such as Claude Code, Aider, or Cursor) and uses the Agent Messaging Protocol (AMP) for secure, email-like communication between agents. Agents can be deployed in four modes: local tmux sessions, Docker containers, AWS EC2 instances, or AWS ECS Fargate serverless containers.
Who it’s for
- AI-first founders and solo operators who manage a workforce of AI agents to run a business.
- Developers who run multiple agents and want to avoid switching between terminals and losing context.
- Teams coordinating AI-assisted work across multiple machines.
- Operators who want to connect AI agents to external platforms like Slack, Discord, and WhatsApp via secure gateways.
Highlights
- Unified Dashboard: Manage all agents across multiple machines from a single UI with smart naming and organization.
- Agent Messaging (AMP): Enables direct agent-to-agent communication with priority levels and cryptographic signatures.
- Multi-Machine Mesh: A serverless peer-to-peer network that allows agents on different computers to be visible and accessible.
- Persistent Memory: Features three layers of intelligence: conversation memory, a visual Code Graph of the codebase, and auto-generated documentation.
- Work Coordination: Includes a Kanban board for task tracking and "war rooms" for agent team meetings.
- Cloud Deployment: One-command deployment to AWS EC2 and ECS Fargate via Terraform.
- External Gateways: Securely routes messages from Slack, Discord, and Email to agents while detecting prompt injection patterns.
