How it works

The app uses expo-speech-recognition for native transcription and an incremental aligner to map spoken words to a reference text in real-time. For advanced analysis, it integrates Azure Speech for phoneme-level and prosody detail. AI coaching is provided via Expo Router API routes and the Vercel AI Gateway, which generate summaries, tips, and targeted practice passages based on the user's session measurements.
