Project creators can invite teammates via email or link with two distinct permission levels:

  • Edit Access: Members can update instructions, upload or remove files, and invite additional teammates.

Shared projects utilize a private memory system, allowing ChatGPT to remember details shared by any member. This prevents the need for repetitive context-setting in long-running workflows and keeps sensitive client or project data isolated within the project environment.
