Virgin Atlantic successfully launched its new mobile app in beta during the Christmas period and moved to production weeks later. By leveraging Codex, the engineering team avoided the common trade-off between meeting fixed deadlines and maintaining testing rigor, resulting in a launch with zero P1 tickets.
Neil Letchford, VP of Digital Engineering, emphasizes the criticality of application stability for an operational airline:
