What it solves

Botmux solves the accessibility and notification gap for AI programming CLIs and Agents. It allows users to remotely control their development-machine-based AI tools via Lark (Feishu), enabling them to monitor progress, interact with agents, and manage sessions from a mobile device or computer without needing a direct terminal connection.

How it works

Botmux acts as a daemon that bridges existing AI CLI tools to Lark. Instead of rebuilding agent capabilities, it spawns independent session processes for each new conversation. It captures the output of these CLI tools and streams it back to Lark as interactive cards. It also provides a web-based terminal for direct interaction and supports routing multiple different AI bots (using 20+ built-in adapters) within a single Lark group chat via @mentions.
