How it works

Sidecar provides an integrated workspace where users can run AI agents (such as Claude Code, Gemini, or Cursor) in embedded interactive terminals. It uses a split-pane system to allow users to open files, git diffs, and external resources like Jira or GitHub issues directly beside the terminal. It also includes a centralized "Sessions" screen to monitor agent activity across multiple projects and a "TD Monitor" for tracking tasks designed for AI agents.
