What it solves

MindFS provides a remote access gateway and visualization layer for AI agents that typically run as command-line interfaces (CLIs) on a local workstation. It allows users to interact with their local AI agents and project data from any device via a web browser, eliminating the need to be physically at their workstation or manage complex firewall settings for remote access.

How it works

MindFS runs as a lightweight background service on a local machine, automatically detecting installed AI agent CLIs (such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or DeepSeek Harness). It wraps these agents in a web-based interface that streams token-by-token output and renders tool calls and thought traces as structured cards. For remote access, it uses an encrypted tunnel via a relay service (a9gent.com) or private networks like Tailscale, enabling secure connections to the local instance from the public internet.
