Chris Liddell 在大型组织中拥有广泛的领导记录。他之前的职位包括担任三家大型企业的首席财务官 (CFO)：Microsoft、General Motors 和 International Paper。

在公共部门，Liddell 在 Trump 特朗普总统的第一任期内担任过白宫副幕僚长，并曾任白宫美国技术委员会主任，专注于政府技术的现代化。
