MCP Server for Turkish & American Stock Exchange and Fund Data

What it solves

Borsa MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allows Large Language Models (LLMs) to access real-time and historical financial data for Turkish and US markets. It eliminates the need for manual data retrieval by providing a unified interface for stocks, funds, crypto, and macroeconomic data, enabling LLMs to perform complex financial analysis, technical scanning, and portfolio tracking directly within a chat interface.

How it works

Built using FastMCP, the server integrates multiple financial data sources including KAP, Yahoo Finance, BtcTurk, Coinbase, borsapy, and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB). It exposes 26+ specialized tools to the LLM, allowing the model to fetch profiles, historical price data, technical indicators (RSI, MACD), and financial statements. Users can connect it as a remote server via a URL or install it locally using uv for clients like Claude Desktop or Google Antigravity.

Who it’s for

It is designed for investors, financial analysts, and developers who use AI agents to track Borsa İstanbul (BIST) and US markets, analyze TEFAS funds, or monitor macroeconomic indicators and crypto prices.
