perseval-BLR/DLSS5-NeuralScreen
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on your whole Windows desktop, in real time. RTX 30/40/50, 12 languages, user presets, recording with audio, one-window mode.
What it solves
NeuralScreen is a tool that applies NVIDIA's DLSS 5 neural rendering to the entire Windows desktop in real time. It allows users to sharpen and enhance the visual quality of everything on screen—including games, videos, and photos—using the same neural network used in DLSS 5 games.
How it works
The software creates an overlay that captures the screen (or a specific window) and processes the frames through the nvngx_dlssnr.dll runtime. It uses a matched residual composite to ensure that while the neural network handles relighting and sharpening, text, edges, and UI elements maintain their native 1:1 resolution. It supports various NVIDIA RTX cards (RTX 50, 40, 30, and limited support for RTX 20) and provides a network resolution slider to balance performance and visual quality.
Who it’s for
Windows users with NVIDIA RTX GPUs who want to improve the visual clarity and sharpness of their display content across all applications, rather than than just in games that natively support DLSS.
Highlights
- System-wide Application: Processes the whole screen or specific windows in real time.
- Customizable Profiles: Includes presets from "Faithful" to "Extreme" with adaptive exposure for dark scenes.
- Performance Tuning: A resolution slider allows users to reduce the network's processing resolution to increase frame rates.
- Integrated Recording: Built-in MP4 recording and screenshot capabilities, with Spout2 output for high-quality capture in OBS.
- Multi-language Support: Interface available in 12 different languages.
