How it works

Built with Tauri, React, and Rust, the application runs locally for privacy and speed. It integrates OpenAI-compatible APIs to provide smart context-aware word explanations, detailed grammar breakdowns, and interactive Q&A. For Japanese and Chinese, it generates word-level readings (furigana/pinyin) on-device. It also supports studying video and audio via SRT/VTT subtitles with features like single-sentence looping and pitch-preserving speed control.
