browser-use/bux

Browser Use Box: a 24/7 Claude Code agent for Playwright-style browser automation with Browser Use Cloud, Telegram, and a real browser on any box you own.

What it solves

Browser Use Box (bux) provides a way to deploy a persistent, 24/7 AI agent based on Claude Code that can interact with a real web browser. It eliminates the need for manual setup of complex browser automation environments and allows users to control their agent via Telegram or a web terminal from anywhere.

How it works

The project consists of three systemd services running on an Ubuntu VPS. It integrates Claude Code with a Chromium session via browser-harness, which connects to the Browser Use Cloud API for CDP over WSS. Agent state, including cookies and chat history, is stored persistently in /home/bux to ensure that logins and sessions stick across reboots.

Who it’s for

Developers and teams who want a dedicated, always-on AI agent capable of web navigation and automation, particularly those who use Telegram for communication and operations.

Highlights

  • Persistent Browser Sessions: Uses a real Chromium session where cookies and logins are maintained.
  • Telegram Integration: Allows users to text their agent directly via a Telegram bot.
  • Telegram-heavy Workflows: Offers managed pilots for lead triage, support, and partner onboarding within Telegram.
  • Human-in-the-loop: Provides a live view URL when the agent encounters login walls, 2FA, or CAPTCHAs for manual intervention.
  • Easy Deployment: Can be installed via a single curl script on any Ubuntu VPS with at least 2GB of RAM.
