FridayOS-Lite provides a low-barrier entry point for creating an AI-powered "second brain" for knowledge management. It eliminates the need for complex technical setup, manual folder organization, and the friction of using VPNs or expensive subscriptions, allowing users to manage their knowledge base using natural language.

How it works

The system uses a "Vibe Knowledge Management" (VKM) approach where the AI handles the filing, linking, and retrieval of information. Users install a stack of five tools (Obsidian, Claude Code, cc-switch, DeepSeek V4, and Claudian) to integrate an AI engine directly into their notes app. By providing a "Brain Blueprint" file, the AI automatically builds a structured six-region partition (Inbox, Workbench, Knowledge, Knowledge, Skills, Archive, and Core) to organize notes as local plain text.
