What it solves

ColaMD is a lightweight Markdown editor designed to bridge the gap between human writers and AI agents. It solves the problem of static editors that don't reflect changes made by external AI tools (like Claude Code or Cursor) in real time, allowing users to see AI-generated edits as they happen.

How it works

The editor uses a live sync mechanism that monitors open .md files. When an AI agent edits a file, ColaMD automatically updates the view. It also includes an "Agent Activity Indicator" in the titlebar to notify the user when an agent is currently writing or has finished.
