What it solves

YALC is an open-source Go-To-Market (GTM) engine designed as a self-hosted alternative to Clay. It automates the tedious parts of outbound sales—such as lead sourcing, qualification, and personalized outreach—while maintaining a strict human-in-the-loop requirement to ensure quality and prevent automated spam.

How it works

It operates as a CLI-first orchestration layer that connects to your existing tech stack (CRM, sequencers, and call recorders). The system uses a three-layer architecture: a CLI layer for user commands, a Skills layer for specific operations (like scraping or qualifying), and a Providers layer that interfaces with external APIs (such as LinkedIn via Unipile or data enrichment via Crustdata).

Users can drive the system via a terminal or through an IDE using the Claude Code extension. It leverages LLMs to synthesize GTM frameworks from company websites and orchestrate complex workflows from natural language descriptions.
