How it works

Sonobarr acts as a middleware application built with Flask and Socket.IO. It connects to a Lidarr instance via HTTP API to sync the user's current artist catalogue. It then uses the Last.fm discovery graph, ListenBrainz playlists, and optional AI prompts to find similar artists. The results are streamed in real-time to a web interface where users can preview artists via YouTube or iTunes and instantly add them to Lidarr.
