OpenAI Appoints Dali Rajic as Chief Revenue Officer

OpenAI has appointed Dali Rajic as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead its global revenue organization. This move comes as OpenAI's products reach more than one billion weekly active users and over two million businesses, doubling its business user base within a year.

Executive Leadership Transition

Dali Rajic replaces Denise Dresser, who established the commercial foundation and built the team during a formative period for the enterprise AI market. Dresser will leave OpenAI following a transition period to support existing customers and the business team.

Strategic Objectives for the CRO Role

Greg Brockman, President and Co-Founder of OpenAI, states that the company is entering a "compute-powered economy" where AI is embedded in every workflow. The primary objective for Dali Rajic is to transform current learnings into "repeatable execution" and build the "revenue operating system" necessary to scale for the next generation of models that will change how companies are built and run.

Dali Rajic's Professional Background

Dali Rajic brings experience in managing metrics-led revenue organizations and selling to both technical customers and large enterprises. His previous leadership roles include:

  • Wiz (recently acquired by Google): Served as President and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Zscaler: Served as President and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Zscaler: Served as Chief Customer and Revenue Officer at AppDynamics.

Go-to-Market Acceleration

To support the expansion of the go-to-market team, OpenAI has formed a strategic partnership with Chad Peets and RPT Partners.
