What it solves

Open Agents provides a reference implementation for building background coding agents that can operate independently of a user's local machine. It solves the problem of keeping a browser tab open or a laptop running to complete complex, multi-step coding tasks, by moving the agent's execution and the code execution environment (sandbox) to the cloud.
